Jason Reed Struble is an Associate Attorney with Galvan Messick. Jason focuses his practice on the areas of real estate law, mergers and acquisitions law, and healthcare law.
Jason advises entrepreneurs, dental service organizations (“DSO”), closely-held and family businesses, and middle-market companies in structuring and closing mergers and acquisitions, real estate purchases/sales, and commercial leasing transactions.
Jason has provided legal counsel and given risk management advice to the board of directors and senior management at companies of all sizes operating a variety of sectors, and he has significant experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial real estate leases.
Before joining the firm, Jason served as General Counsel & Vice President of Leasing, Tenant Relations, and Acquisitions to a private real estate investment trust (“REIT”) where he managed the company’s real estate portfolio of grocery store-anchored shopping centers located throughout Florida occupied by a mix of national and local tenants.
Before joining the REIT, Jason gained significant experience in healthcare law and regulatory compliance when he served as General Counsel to a private equity-funded DSO that provides administrative support services and facilities to dental offices located throughout Florida and Georgia.
During his time as General Counsel for a DSO, Jason gained knowledge of federal and state health care laws and regulations, including federal and state anti-kickback statutes, the Stark Law, and HIPAA. Jason developed and improved the legal review process of marketing programs, advertising materials, and website and social media content to ensure compliance with federal regulations, truth-in-advertising principles, and state law.
After graduating from law school, Jason started his legal career as a staff attorney in the Healthcare Division of a large healthcare receivables management company located in Boca Raton, Florida, where he focused his practice on health insurance law. Jason negotiated settlements with insurance companies for wrongfully denied or underpaid insurance claims on behalf of medical providers and hospitals.
Jason received a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, in addition to an International Law Certificate from Florida State University College of Law. During law school, Jason served as an Associate Justice on The Florida State University Student Supreme Court, and as an Executive Editor on the Florida State Journal of Transnational Law & Policy.
Before law school, Jason received a Master of Business Administration degree, with honors, in International Business and Management from The University of Toledo College of Business & Innovation, and a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University.
